Planned Giving takes the perspective that attention to detail characterizes giving that may entail a ‘lifetime perspective’. A planned giving program has been defined as the “systematic and aggressive encouragement of gifts to an organization…by means of life income plans, bequests, insurance contracts, gifts of personal residence or farm with retained life estate, partial interests in tangible personal property, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and other methods..”
