Jack Greenwood entered the non-profit
fundraising profession in 1990 after spending
nearing 30 years in the financial field, 20
years of which were as President and CEO of
a family owned institution in Topeka, Kansas.
He then joined the Kansas University Endowment
in Lawrence, KS, and served as Associate Director
of Planned Giving for over five years before
accepting a similar position at Arizona State
University in Tempe, AZ. It was in this position
that Jack was asked to develop an extensive
planned giving program for this large university
serving over 50,000 students.
After six years at ASU, Jack retired
from full time employment to join a national
full-service fundraising and philanthropic management
consulting firm as an independent contractor,
where he served for three years before engaging
in his own consulting business specializing
in the development of planned giving programs.
He has worked with such diverse
organizations as colleges, universities, independent
schools, arts centers, museums, social service
agencies, churches, retirement communities and
other nonprofit organizations with emphasis
in the areas of planned giving, endowment, annual
and capital campaigns.
